RJR49 129 #1 Posted July 17, 2023 (edited) My C-160 hydro has a leaking actuator. I confess to not having explored beyond determining where the leak is coming from. But, I'm wondering if the cylinder is rebuildable (if there is such a word), and if there is a kit out there somewhere. If none of the above works. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement cylinder? Edited July 17, 2023 by RJR49
ebinmaine 68,221 #2 Posted July 17, 2023 Send your own cylinder to Lowell at Wheelhorse Parts And More. They'll rebuild it for you.
pfrederi 17,856 #3 Posted July 18, 2023 WH used different cylinders over the years and the early welded ones may have been replaced. Newer ones you can repair yourself. Also is the cylinder leaking around the piston rod or from the hose connections. Look at his manual. A picture of your cylinder would help,
RJR49 129 #4 Posted July 27, 2023 I'll let you know. If I send it out it will have to be early winter and hope we don't get a snow storm. The way my grass has been growing lately I would have a hayfield if I sent it out now
