Sodaking27 777 #1 Posted July 13, 2023 Got the KT17 installed. Had to notch the frame in two places to allow for the hex bolts attaching the motor to the mounting plate. Luckily the 420’s frame had the notches already, so I was able to make a quick template. Still waiting on a few parts, choke and throttle cables. I thought the adapter would have fixed that ?? The factory started notching the frame in 86 I believe to accommodate the twin cylinder Kohler’s.
