1979 C-101 upgrade

Crazy Horse Garage

I was wanting to keep the 10 h.p. Kohler on this and keep it pretty much original,

I bought an 18 h.p. Duromax for my roller purchase. A 1965 875. It was too big so I put it in the C-101 and put the 10 h.p. on the 875. Alot of folks are running these Duromax. Gonna try a Predator 420 in my Raider 12. Has anyone had any issues with Duromax or Predator? Thanks for the responses. I'm disabled, but I'm doing what I can to "SAVE THE HORSES!!"

C/H73 looks like you have your hands full with those two projects. Good luck with both of them Also.   :WRS:

Bought a Predator yesterday at Harbor Freight. Instead of the 420 13 h.p. engine for my Raider 12, I had to replace the nearly 40 year old Briggs Opposed twin with a 15.8 h.p. for my mower. From unboxing both engines, the Duromax seems to me to be more quality oriented. Hopefully both engines will last. Still wish I could afford a Kohler.
