bc.gold 3,403 #1 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) Pictures coming tomorrow, the mower was built 1971, three wheel hydro-static drive front mount mower deck powered with a Wisconsin engine with electric start. I'm told this mower turns on a dime. Also a parts machine tossed into the deal, not sure if I'll get the 24 HP V-twin Honda engine, keeping fingers crossed. bc.gold 3,403 #2 Posted July 7, 2023 The mower is a Yazoo with a 12.5 HP Wisconsin Air Cooled Engine model AGND, the parts mower rusted deck has a Honda V-twin 24 horse engine which I'm told is low hours. With the 5 foot deck cutting the two acres on Pat's lot will go half the time I spend with my Ariens zero turn. The best part, I no longer have to trailer my mower over to her place.
bc.gold 3,403 #4 Posted July 7, 2023 From the Yazoo parts manual, an inner tube as an option. yazoo_trailer.pdf
bc.gold 3,403 #5 Posted July 9, 2023 The Yazoo had been sitting in the weeds for the past five years, this is the first start up.
bc.gold 3,403 #6 Posted July 9, 2023 Great American ingenuity, the spindle bearings are serviceable - you can replace them without purchasing the whole tower. The tower on the left hand side has a bad bearing causing vibration, I'm going to replace all of them.
bc.gold 3,403 #7 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Heads up too Yazoo Master Mower Owners, the top blade spindle nuts are left hand thread, the Milwaukee Fuel impact has enough power to strip threads being removed thinking the nut is right hand thread. The parts manual states the blade nuts are also LHT ( Left hand thread ). The good news it was the parts mower in which this oddity was discovered.
