This is going to be a two seater. The dash is for operator controls and steering on the left side so I need to come up with the dash extending to passenger side. I have an idea in mind but building it may be challenging.

What ideas can your creative minds come up with?

I have been planning to do a side by side 953 build and my plan for the dash was to use two 953 dash board units connected by a bridge. May make a fiberglass mold from a cast iron dash then make two of fiberglass and a fiberglass bridge. Probably easier than attempting to join two cast iron units. one for steering and the other could become a glovebox.

I have the same ideal of using 2 dash units but the passenger side would be an ice cooler for beverages. The space between the two dashes maybe a beverage holder.

Need room for two beverages, though, right? :D

Right. If my calculations are right there should be a 12" space. Room enough for two large beverages!

Just giving you a dash idea. Twin 953 dash pods with a sheetmetal center panel.

I got the dash parts and the grill surround in today. The grill has had some repairs done but I will be cutting that out.

Good ideas fellas but all the light placement area will be removed as well as the lower flat area. That's why I bought a damaged unit. Will definitely be a custom front end and no damage to a good grill.

Dash picture will be the actual dash width +/- 36"

I have started to wear in my path to the shop. I did pick up the trailer but it is too small and to vintage to cut up for a project. I gave it to my grandsons.

I have been collecting metal and other parts.

has the look I want.

Very ‘50s with the raised runners and angled tops on the sides. Coulda been on an old Willys!

I now have 99% of the components I need for this build. Just waiting for the ok from my oncologist to start fabrication. My goal is to do as much as I can before surgery.

I have the driver's dash components on order just waiting for A to Z to have time to fill my order. Not a big deal, I'm a long way off from needing them. Any irreversible modifications to any tractor parts during this build was damaged when I received it.(I don't cut up or modify good parts)
