1987 Wheel Horse, anybody found any products to make a faded WH steering wheel look like new? Mine is the black vinyl like steering wheel. Thanks!

I have had good success on shift knobs using Duplicolor Interior Panel and Carpet black spray dye. Has held up just fine on those for over 3 years. Easy prep, very thin - flows well. Takes about 3 to 4 coats. Does NOT fill imperfections when dry. Best done with the steering wheel removed from the tractor - not absolutely necessary, but easier to do a good job on it...

I have used this on steering wheels and shifter knobs with good success.

If its not to faded/deteriorated I have used this polishing compound with round and cone shaped buffing wheels in a drill.

It it has any cracks you can clean the out with a thin cutoff wheel in a dremel.  Then i use JB Weld with black spray paint mixed into it (to turn it black) I tape either side of the crack with blue painters tape, then work the epoxy into the crack. After its dry then use a file and sandpaper to work it to shape.

There is zero damage, the black and clear are faded. Actually, just clear would likely make it look fantastic.
