Didn’t get too many parts or any new tractors from show but thanks to the thoughtfulness, and kindness of Kevin @PullstartI brought what feeds my mind and warms my soul. A van load of exotic wood cut offs . Precious stuff much of it at or over 3 feet in length. I will be sharing it with my son who’s already salivating over it. My mind is already racing with the many possibilities for it so stay tuned. Thank you for thinking of me Kevin.

It’s nothing, compared to the Casimiro Sousa & Sons hand plane that was given to me by such a kind man!  I have a lot to be thankful for at the show.  I didn’t buy any machines myself, but picked up one harbored by @roadapples, Guy and @Ed Kennell, was gifted this plane by Cas, and Jeremy @p38js really did a contribution for Rylee.  He put a small price tag on the load, but it was nothing compared to the goods he delivered to her.  So many stand up people in this community!  I’m honored!  I’ll touch on the tractors in another thread, but thank you to everyone who made this year so special!

So I couldn’t wait to do a test ride on some of this wood. I don’t really know what this species is but it works like Black Walnut and it has great color. Handle on plane is Black Walnut. It is very dense but it planes really well. This is great stuff Kevin. @Pullstart
