OoPEZoO 525 #6 Posted June 24, 2023 I picked up a MacKissic Mighty Mac wood chipper from a very nice gentleman who was also kind enough to drive it out to our vehicle in the parking lot. I'm kicking myself for not catching his name. I have wanted one for a few months, but the marketplace/CL ones kept eluding me. Can't wait to get it hooked up to my 314 and start clearing some neglected areas of our property. Also picked up a few other odds and ends, but the chipper absolutely made my weekend. 4

zigzag 127 #9 Posted June 25, 2023 No real big purchases this year. I did see a 5000w generator that I was very close to buying. Went back a little while later to seal the deal and it was sold. Oh well. Someone needed it more than me. I got a slot hitch from @Ed Kennell and a plow from @76c12091520h. Also a lift cable from @wheelhorseman and shift knobs from @A-Z Tractor.
Ed Kennell 38,182 #10 Posted June 26, 2023 After driving the 41 mile to the show, both trailer tires went flat while waiting an hour for the gate to open. So I came home with two flat tires and two new tires and wheels. Also brought two blowers home that Chuck @cafoose didn't want to haul back to Tenn. A short chute parts blower and a working Ber Vac dual monster. 3 2

I used this trailer for three other shows this spring without any issues. Drove 41 mile to the WHCC show and they were OK when I pulled in the lot, then both went flat while waiting an hour for the gate to open. I haven't had time to soap them up to find the leaks.

You must be blessed then Ed, that it happened the way it did. Better than tooling down the highway and have them go. 3

Both leaked on the sidewall at exactly the same place. At the O in Comodore. Pretty good engineering to have them both fail at the same milage and time. 2
SylvanLakeWH 25,577 #16 Posted June 28, 2023 Faulty manufacturing run maybe? Defect at same location / time...??? hhhmmm...odds are remote...
Ed Kennell 38,182 #17 Posted June 29, 2023 I took the plow off the 520 and installed the Ber Vac blower tht I dragged home from the show. I had to make an adapter to get the lift points to line up. The two lift assist springs were so strong, the blower was floating, so I took one off. Works good now. Now to take it back off and repaint. 3
