Hello I am new to the forum and have some questions. I have an 312-8 and brakes are not working. I am in the process of restoring and using my beast. I need to get a brake lining and cannot find them anywhere. Please if anyone can help that would be appreciated.

Hello. I'm the brake lining guy. If you need to order one, please do so before noon today as I'm headed to the big Wheel Horse show and can't mail after noon.

I ordered a brake lining from maynard.com and it was the easiest thing to put on.  Just need to pick up the adhesive from the auto parts store.

I bought a can of this stuff to use to put new linings on the PTO clutch plates. Have repaired 2 so far with good results:   PLIOBOND VOC Compliant Adhesive, 35LV, 1/2 pt.  Don't know if you'll find it in any local stores.
