Pullstart 62,886 #1 Posted June 19, 2023 Norman is big and long and quite powerful and 2 wheel drive. Add a 40’ camper on the back, and many situations end in wheel spin. A couple years ago I bought 2 sets of tire chains and linked them together to get out of a bad situation and the chains have been in the truck ever since. Today, I’m pinching the sets together, and shortening them to fit. The ends will get painted to assist in any times of need. One red, one white. Two bright colors I had on hand… No need pointing out the blowed apart Air Lift air bag. There’s a warranty claim in process for that…

ri702bill 8,322 #6 Posted June 19, 2023 Nice! I was fortunate to acquire a well used, but still uaeable, pair of double acting chain pliers that were patented in the 1930's. Super easy to open and close the chain connectors.

elcamino/wheelhorse 9,299 #8 Posted June 19, 2023 I am still wondering why @Pullstart put the chains on the front tires.

Pullstart 62,886 #11 Posted June 20, 2023 Just now, Achto said: AGAIN?!?!?! Last time they were brand new and the push connect fitting kept blowing it’s load. This time, the threaded inserts tore out and broke the air fitting when it rubber banded! Note to self. Air Lift “original since 1949” isn’t really that amazing…

Very unlikely I’ll buy from them again, based on their “new” customer service expansion.
