jtrosp1980 88 #1 Posted June 9, 2023 (edited) I have tried everything and can't get it right I guess I have done step by step from manual with the same result on three different tractors I can't get the deck to not get the mule drive to stay on I even went and bought new mule drives changed everything out with same result it's on a raider 10 and 12 with old style mule drive my dad never had this issue I have went to itube and internet for a video no real good ones showing how to install the deck it's a 42 in side discharge I know it must be something I'm doing wrong and I'm at my last straw it starts out mowing good til it throws belt from it these are the three I bought Edited June 9, 2023 by jtrosp1980 Adding pics Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

8ntruck 6,993 #4 Posted June 10, 2023 Have you figured out which pulley the belt jumps off of first? If so, you can start looking at alignment of the pulleys. The deck drive belt on my 14-8 with a 42" RD deck flips inside out on the PTO pulley from time to time. Increasing the tension in that belt with the mule drive usually corrects that issue. Disclaimer - I have never owned or worked on a Wheel Horse with the same type of deck drive system as yours. The above statements are just brainstorming ideas. jtrosp1980 88 #5 Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) The belt comes off because the deck shifts I don't know if I'm missing something on the back it raises right lowers right then when mowing It throws it off sometime right away after moving sometime after a while I have followed the manual I have looked on u tube there really isn't a good video on how to hook it up step by step the one person I could have asked is gone so I'm at my wit ends I won't give up.
