"Manic-Mechanic" 1,195 #1 Posted June 8, 2023 (edited) Managed to build the cat 0 3pt mod and the Finish Mower. Runs excellent but a bit of a ballast issue The hood opens as it should while using the bracket The front weight carrier has clearance Fairly level with a wee bit of incline to counter the weights The Finish Mower is nice and level The check chains doing their job nicely The bracket 5/16 plate steel, (formally a fifth wheel plate from the old Dodge) Was cut with my trusty heavy duty DeWalt jigsaw. Had to use 6 Bosch Carbide rated 1/8-3/8 blades then a Tig for "Penetrations'" The clearance should suffice, (would help if the weights would get here) Simplicity/Snapper Weight Carrier 169422 Lastly Simplicity/Snapper Suitcase Weights1692939 I certainly hope 100lbs will be enough! Very pricey! Edited June 8, 2023 by "Manic-Mechanic" Constant editing issues! Not user friendly at all!

"Manic-Mechanic" 1,195 #5 Posted June 9, 2023 (edited) The 1850 was produced with a different drive train. (Driveshaft with yoke, larger wheels.) Debate is single cylinder VS two for torque?Massey-1855_Parts.pdf Edited June 9, 2023 by "Manic-Mechanic"
