GT-14 dozer blade

Recommended Posts

Just got finished putting my 54 inch dozer blade on a GT-14. I previously took the electric clutch off and converted it to manual. @Wheel Horse 3D The dash plate doesn't quite fit :ychain: It's just a worker and it's fine for now :handgestures-thumbupright:

@cafoose  did you work / detail lube in that plow quadrant?  done that to every plow I had after the first , experimention with that area. proved to be well worth it , also note your plow lever squeeze point , lubrication to every related area , lets you snug / tighten up on the lever connection rod , going to plow frame side. get some red grease in / on the quadrant lever spring pin area , sounds like a rifle bolt , very smooth / solid

Didn't grease it up yet @peter lena but it's on my list. It's getting hot out now so I'll get to it before I use it when it cools down some. No plans to use it anytime soon.

@cafoose  usually set up my plows on a couple of milk crates , so I can roller stool around them and verify  how they work . that quadrant slide pin area is a gold mine for lubrication , soak it down , while its resting , don,t blame me if it comes back to life  .pete

:ranting: does that happen to be the imperfect I sent? It should have lined up except for the lower holes though. And that definately looks shy just like before! I set those into the housing! Grumble grumble! All 3 the same?

I'm just pulling your chain, notice the emoji :ychain: It's fine for that machine. It's a worker. I was expecting it to be imperfect. I haven't checked the others yet. :text-thankyouyellow: again for all you do for our :wh:

I have informed delivery from USPS that lets me know everything coming to me in the mail since I moved to Tennessee. I got an email this morning that it's arriving tomorrow. :text-thankyouyellow: :handgestures-thumbupright:
