Fronts: Vredestein 16-6.50-8 5-Rib Rear: OTR Lawn Trac 24x12-12 Rims are all stock Thinking of loading rears but haven’t decided. all the engine parts are powder coated, extra heavy. There are more at powder coat, right now. I keep deciding to do more of them. I’m thinking they after removing the dash tower, tonight, I’ll be sending more out for coating. 3

Might as well finish right up while the opportunity is the best. I'm with the others above. I say paint the frame and trans.

c-series don 8,690 #12 Posted June 2, 2023 You can’t get it down to the frame and transmission and not paint it. Simply. Not aloud. 1
peter lena 8,620 #13 Posted June 2, 2023 @Bow_Extreme looks like a perfect time to lay in a new steel or related metal fuel line , finish last foot each end, with clear vinyl gas line , spot for fuel filter , might even put in a " lazy loop " for vibration before carb , fuel check valve . think about it , you are removing related fuel line break down spots . ethenol breaks down , anything that is not up to date , filing fuel bowl with debris . personally add STA BIL to all my gas , no debris or issues . i use ethenol in everything , you are right there , how I see it , pete

I never thought to add a metal fuel line. I have the tools and ability to do so and I may just make that happen. I only run rec fuel in my machines so I really don’t have many issues with fuel breaking down components. Thanks for the suggestions! 2 1
peter lena 8,620 #15 Posted June 3, 2023 @Bow_Extreme very often refer to opportunity , after going over all my related linkage / connection spots for added washers / grease for a snug easy moving spot , made that a regular help out spot . might not seem like much , but when anything thats saposed to move , is not fighting rust / wobbly connection , it moves witha solid / smooth function . this is very easy , note the added washers behind the pto lever start? battery frame rail area , flange bearing to steering column , last photo , battery tender plug in connected to choke cable , very easy to use , battery cable to corner of engine to frame ? comes off that battery ground bolt point , that enhances RECTIFIER GRoUNDING , also note added heim joint in place of wobbly trumfle . this part of my tractor baseline / function set up , areas to correct / improve . consistant improvemrnt , pete 1

I’ve always added Nylon washers to the PTO levers. This is an absolute must. The others I have not done. I will see about adding these to this tractor,

You’re doing great Matt, and to think I thought it was ready to go! Ha! Thank You! Honestly, this one has been a lot of work! So many things found that needed repaired or replaced. Last night, I had to replace the headlight switch as it didn’t work. I know. Random event. At first I thought my wiring job was bad. This is one of many issues. Last night I fired it up for the first time. Have to pull the carb again, as I’m having issues with fueling. Plenty of fuel to the carb but seems like something is stuck in the main jet. To make matters worse, I now have another 520-8 sitting in the barn.🤪 1
