Great fick! The motor sounds awsome.

Mike.............

Thanks Mike, yeah she is a sweet sounding engine, it should sound even better once a stack with a flap gets fitted.

Thanks for the vids,Ian. I've been following on YouTube and just had a chance to read your posts. The Kohler sure sounds great! I;'ll be looking forward to the weekend now! Hope the belt comes in for you. Rich

Your welcome Rich, thank you for following the build on MooTube. Yep, roll on the weekend :)

Great video, as always Lan! Your getting closer. :woohoo:

Matt :flags-texas:

Thanks Latt, closer is not the word for it, it's more like extremely close now :D

Well, it's been another busy day in the shack polishing off all those little jobs and one rather large and very important job!

First job of the day was to take a photo of the between wheels belt tensioners as so far I had forgotten.. As it turned out I couldn't get a decent photo so have the best one.

TSS1074.jpg

Next on the list was to install the lights and hood trim thingy.. That looks better :)

TSS1075.jpg

These little jobs are not really needed for the test run, but as well as making the beast look more complete, it was also a good way of killing time while waiting for the postman to turn up..

30 seconds after the postie had put a parcel in my hand, the parcel had been ripped open and the drive belt checked for fit..

It fits

TSS1076.jpg

Some of you may of noticed some extra pipework in the above photo, they would be hydraulic hoses for the 3 point.

If I had more time I would of had the 3 point working for the test drive, so just to complete the hydraulic system one ram was er... installed.

TSS1077.jpg

To stop the new drive belt attacking any ones legs a Raider was trimmed to fit. It still needs a few inches adding to the engine pulley end, but for now it will do it's job and keep legs safe.

TSS1080.jpg

Both feet have somewhere to rest now, even if one side is just held on with a G-clamp.. I was feeling so tired at the time I just took the simplest option..

TSS1079.jpg

TSS1081.jpg

Only one thing left to do... Clean the bench, get out the axle stands, get the wheels off the bench and see if the drive and steering brakes work!!

TSS1078.jpg

TSS1082.jpg

Sooo... "did it work?", I hear you cry....

To find out you will have to wait until I post the video in the morning (uk time).. :)

If you can't wait that long, it should of finished uploading to my YouTube channel in about 5 hours
