ranger 1,748 #1 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) This post is primarily aimed at members in the UK. I’ve been on the lookout for a source of PTO clutch linings this side of the pond. I found a company that supplies all kinds of bespoke clutches etc for classic vehicles etc. I’ve just ordered some 6 3/4” linings for around $10 each + tax etc. I realise you have sources of your own over in the States, but, over here things are not quite so plentiful. For UK members the name of the company is, Clutchfix ltd. They have a website. They supply to dimensions supplied by the customer. In my case, 171x108x4mm. Material RF40, suggested adhesive Araldite. ranger 1,748 #2 Posted May 25, 2023 New linings just arrived, although yesterday I ‘re-glued’ the lining on the C161 pto, which was almost off when I bought it. Still I have some more clutch plates I can now ‘Reline’. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Damien Walker 246 #3 Posted June 15, 2023 Hello! I needed to reline a Wheelhorse clutch a few years ago and found a commercial vehicle spares supplier 'Trafford Brake and Hose Services' in St Helens. Not only did they supply the lining but they also glued it on for me. My recollection is that it cost £30 which I thought 'not cheap' at the time...Will no doubt be more now! I'd avoid standard Araldite - the type usually available from diy stores (particularly the 5 minute variety) as it is little better than cheese.
