I figured if soaking a new malformed tire in hot water made a new tire easier to regain it's manufactured shape why not heat the rim around the beaded area to make the rubber more pliable. 8ntruck 7,004 #3 Posted May 21, 2023 Dang! I didn't think of this last August when I was trying to remove the front tires from my C-195. Probably would have saved me the blackened fingernail I gave myself when I missed the tire iron with the 8 pound hammer.
