mrharris12 32 #1 Posted May 20, 2023 Im looking to get a different seet of tires than the regular turf saver tire or whatever they are called. I am also looking for something not as aggressive as the R4 or I think they are all ag tires. I really like the R14 tires, but I am not sure if there is a size that would fit on the 418. Does anyone know of a different option for tires?

Tonytoro416 1,095 #3 Posted May 21, 2023 These tires are similar to the all terrain. I wanted something that would bite in snow but not tear up the yard if I mowed with it
Tonytoro416 1,095 #4 Posted May 21, 2023 They are a cheap tire found on Amazon. Meant for golf carts I believe. Still have 1200 pound capacity. They are also 23-10.50-12
8ntruck 7,326 #5 Posted May 21, 2023 Carlisle has a tread that is a cross between an ag tread and a turf saver tread. The tire has ag type bars on it, but instead of being solid, the bars have a turf saver pattern. Don't remember wat they are called, but they are available in several 12" sizes. Not terribly inexpensive, tough.

Tonytoro416 1,095 #11 Posted May 25, 2023 So far I been impressed. I have been mowing with that tractor and had some soft conditions behind the barn and it did well and didn’t tear up the grass at all. Interested to see how they work in snow
Lee1977 6,992 #12 Posted May 25, 2023 They should do well in snow. What little experience I have had in snow with my All Trails II they did well. They are a little different but basely the same tread.
