jrjettak@aol.com 2 #1 Posted May 16, 2023 I have a 1276 that restored about 4 years ago! Recently discovered governor not working correctly, was all over the place! Not the best time because using it to grade dirt were put drainage in! I bought a motor to put on it til can get fixed! Anyway after mounting new motor changed transmission fluid it does not move! When blocked up wheels turn slow in reverse when pushing forward and creeping forward when pull back! The tow valve is closed also! Before and after photos included! Any ideas appreciated! Achto 27,745 #3 Posted May 17, 2023 You said that you changed the engine and hydro fluid. Did you change the hydro filter as well? Is the fluid full as read on the dip stick? Is the belt slipping?
jrjettak@aol.com 2 #4 Posted May 17, 2023 (edited) Yes filter changed , reads full. It builds pressure when run, and when take cap off fill tube after running it sucks air in! When I said builds pressure it does so to the lift cylinder lines and the back wheels are much harder to turn! Just seems like a pocket of air somewhere! When you replaced the oil did you replace it with the same type oil? If the old oil was pink it should be ATF, if amber it should ne 10W30. The filter should be a Wix 51410 or NAPA 1410.
