Pete would you please explain to @Horse Newbie exactly what all the intention is of that particular object I hung up on my wall?

I put it there to remind me of our meeting and the day overall.

@Horse Newbie  referring to  @ebinmaine , s picture of the clip I  made up , have some 316 s/s TIG   welding rod left , just wanted to show its versatility , to make a hook up point / spot for a spring pull or similar , problem solving . back in the day it was regular stuff to make up something that was not there , but should have been . a lot of my millwright experience , was quickly adapting to  a mechanical failure . also gave him a small slice of conveyor belting , a fabric that does not wear out , bombproof support . we rarely had a reference to go to, but if you talked to the operator of the system , he would give you a track to the failure . then you could fix the problem and also add an improvement to its cause ,  there was no book  / manual reference , that makes me do what I do , pete
