grinchsr 634 #1 Posted May 1, 2023 Would I do any harm if I slow rolled a empty Eaton 11 about 50 feet?
c-series don 8,808 #2 Posted May 1, 2023 I’d say no, but slow is the key. Sometimes you have to push a few feet then wait a couple seconds and then go again.
oliver2-44 9,848 #3 Posted May 1, 2023 Could you move it by putting some dolleys under the rear wheels just to be safe?
grinchsr 634 #4 Posted May 1, 2023 I am old so slow is normal.
grinchsr 634 #5 Posted May 1, 2023 The wheels are still on it and the frame is attached so I just want to slow tow it to my shed but I drained it already.

I bought some dollies at Harbor Freight, I think they're about 12" x "18" and are just the right size to plop a 23x8.50 or 9.50 -12 rear tire into. They're only $12-15 each and they're great for moving tractors around in the garage. I don't know if the wheels are big enough to do well on gravel though. If you're on gravel, I'd buy 4 of the larger wheels they sell and make one large dolly for the back end.

Your Transaxle housing is basically a reservoir for the pump nd don't worry about the slight clinking noise you will hear from the pump, that is normal. I resemble that remark. 1
WHX?? 49,138 #8 Posted May 1, 2023 I'll side with the others. I've towed many a 520 filled. Bad coil, bad fuel pump, electric gremlins... you name it. Yep just go ssllooww... What you are gonna have to do is buy a six speed horse and go in 1st or 2nd gear low range. Not sorry for having to make you buy another if you don't have one. Make it a 1267 if you please...
