gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,083 #3 Posted April 30, 2023 Welcome to the forum. Post the model number and serial number of your tractor. There are 10 different model numbers and years. That way we can link you to the correct info you need. The data decal may be under the left side of the seat on the rear fender pan.
WHX?? 48,988 #4 Posted April 30, 2023 (edited) Not sure here since I am not a Xi pro. I do know many attachments are xi specific. Guessing some sort of rear rock shaft. I'm sure the xi pros will chime in. @PeacemakerJack Edited April 30, 2023 by WHX??
Pullstart 63,003 #5 Posted April 30, 2023 The Xi is surely the Cadillac of garden tractors! Be sure to check out your front axle pivot pin. It doesn’t seem bad until the tractor is lifted off the ground BY THE FRAME.

Pullstart 63,003 #9 Posted April 30, 2023 Does yours have smart steer (throttle control) still hooked up for the cruise control? What about power steering? Here’s a link to how I eliminated smart steer. There is a kit to do it, and other methods for sure. This was simple enough for my liking..
jmarek3796 2 #10 Posted April 30, 2023 Yes still has smart steer and power steering

Well, if you want to go OEM for rear sleeve Hitch Implements, You'll need this https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/product/toro-wheel-horse-xi-series-5-xi-series-brinly-clevis-hitch-sleeve-hitch-kit/. But some go this way https://www.johnnyproducts.com/J_Bucket_HTMs/UNI_Sleeve_Hitch.htm as it allows You to use Your front Implements Like a Front Blade at the same time You are using a rear Blade or If You want to Leave You Mid-Mount deck on and use a Box scrape or Rear Blade. One or two People I have seen Fabricate their own 3 Point Hitch as well. That to me was always the downside of the 5Xi series, that Toro only offered a clevis Hitch (sleeve Hitch) for the 5Xi series when competitors at the time offered a Cat 0 or Limited Cat 1 3 point hitch. Most of the parts for raising and Lowering an OEM tiller come with the Top Clevis Hitch, I Linked So the Clevis Hitch or Sleeve Hitch will allow You to Use the following Implements https://brinly.com/product-category/ground-engaging/ all But the front Blade and Hitch In the Link. Though That Hitch In the Link would work On this hitch https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/product/xi-heavy-duty-removable-receiver-hitch-do-not-have-the-axle-bracket-with-mounting-hardware-for-wheel-horse/ if You wanted to try it That way. All these attachments will also fit https://www.agri-fab.com/Products/Ground-Engaging.aspx don't need a hitch for the Tow Behind Tiller.

One other question is if I decide to go the oem route (First link you posted) how does it lift up a plow for example?

The Cable On the Hitch connect to the Tractor's Hydraulic Lift system and raises and Lower the Hitch at the rear of the Tractor. Here are the Installation Instructions https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/4248-hitch-rear-clevis-1998-2004-implement-94-7800pdf/
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,083 #14 Posted April 30, 2023 Attachment requirements are listed in a D&A file here so download that. The "A" is the attachment list and what they require. Your tractor is a 2002 model so look through these 3 pages for more info. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?&q=73561&type=downloads_file&page=2&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy
