Economy wood splitter

At a friends yard, patent pending

How it works, you place the fire wood round inside the top ring then wallop the top of the round forcing the block to be split over the axe head. This is not a JOKE  the guy who welded this contraption together actually thinks he's a genius.

"Patent Pending".   Hmmm. I wonder if he's looking for investors?    I googled "weird inventions" and this one makes as much if not more sense than what other folks have come up with.  I can relate to this one more than what others have come up with for making life easier.

You'd have to buy a full set of them to accommodate different sizes of firewood. :eusa-think: Marketing genius.

Your very observant, my thoughts as well as we do not have many trees that large in Manitoba with out cold climate, Peter the owner claimed the contraption was good for woman when cutting firewood.

But any wood Peter purchases by the cord comes split.

While I was visiting he gave me a 2500 watt Coleman generator claimed he could not start when last used burned oil,  the generator another engineering marvel. When you walk the unit any distance engine is tipped towards the cylinder head.

Would not start after being laid up for months, needed choke applied no primer bulb, after starting yes it did smoke but soon cleared up.

Engine should have been mounted with the cylinder facing the other direction, but due to the position of the pull start which as on the older Briggs could be installed in various positions, to accommodate different equipment applications.
