Spent a day working on tractors and then had a tough time walking afterwards. My knees are give'n up. Will you push me around in a wheelchair, Please???? Although I'd certainly get nervous anywhere near any kind of hill, or stairs! LoL 1
19richie66 17,522 #14 Posted May 20, 2023 I see a Wheelhorse wheelchair as one of your future builds. May as well make something you can use 😁 1

A 20 hp WH wheelchair! Hmmmm. That way I could run @Sparky over if he don't wanna push me! LoL Actually had a plan a while back to make a little WH scooter type thingy and give it to the WHCC for people to use while at the show if they need it. Maybe even build a couple more of those little 2 seaters.

Handy Don 12,444 #18 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) On Sunday I met a fellow using an astonishing wheelchair by Omeo. Two wheels only (with four retracting feet that lower when parked, like electric kickstands, to save power and make it rocksteady). He said it’ll go over grass, gravel, dirt etc. up to 12 mph on smooth surfaces! He directs it by leaning and there is a joystick and a control panel for setup. Battery is more than enough for an active day and recharges easily overnight. He told me he’s now able to play golf again (he uses a one-arm swing) since it’ll navigate the fairways and the greens (the tires look like very lightly treaded, small mountain bike tires) and the stabilizer legs hold the unit still so he can hit. It is based on tech licensed from Seqway, and has a low back rest with only footrests and very low sides so it’s extremely compact. No Kohler, though. If you have any decent AG rear tires I might be interested too. @OldWorkHorse you need anything?

We haven't been able to get much outdoor time around the yard here because of excessive rain days. It's very likely we'll be down but what time frame will be weather dependent.
