Dave 1953 70 #1 Posted April 26, 2023 I have been looking for a set of the correct wheel weights for my GT14 without success for a long time. Could some WH person please post the picture of one for a GT14?. Does anyone know who might have and be willing to part with a pair ? I Seems the only replies are from people who want to inform me of how many sets that have that can't be bought. don't mind paying for shipping thru Fastenal
Pullstart 62,867 #2 Posted April 26, 2023 The weights you’re looking for are WW-93. Here is a link to a set I sold a while back. I’ve had two sets come through my stables, but I prefer doing a 5 lug hub swap and 12” wheels on my big wheel workers (and show machines alike). It allows me a 27x7.50 or 10 - 12 tire that I can fluid fill for even more weight.
Pullstart 62,867 #3 Posted April 26, 2023 Here is a link explaining how I mounted them, and with what materials.. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/86406-introducing-“rebel”-the-953/?page=4&tab=comments#comment-909689

Pictures of the outside weights are as rare as a clear picture of Bigfoot. 😁 1

I have seen the "tombstone" front weight for the older models for sale before. I have a Speedex 1822 and a Strongland 1872 and a 2072 and nobody thought I would ever find a real set of them with "Speedex" cast into them but I did find a set and they cost me 4.00 a pound to get them to the house. There is a set out there somewhere if I can just see what one looks like. I enjoy the "hunt" for rare wheel weights and the rush I get when I score a pair! I see a lot of weights on Facebook marketplace without any ID on them. I know there are some of these lurking around here but most don't know what to look for. Wheel Horse was a big seller around here back in the day and there are still a lot of them around.

Thanks for the trouble of taking and posting the pics, now let the hunt begin. I see a lot of old weights laying around and that's where I will probably find them, not listed in some ad but I got to know what I,m looking for. I've got many sets of weights for my Cub Cadets, Power kings, Speedex, New Holland and more but these WH ones are gonna be amongst the hardest to come by. Thanks again for the help
953 nut 55,228 #16 Posted April 28, 2023 A couple of the bolts for mine got lost in shipping so I had to make them from 9/16 all-thread and lug nuts.
RandyLittrell 3,877 #17 Posted May 7, 2023 (edited) I believe Wheelhorse used implement wheels and tires available at the time and Hey Wheels still make wheels. They are 4 by 5.5 and here is a link. https://www.heywheel.com/page17.html They build them after you order and can make different offsets and widths I am pretty sure, they did for me.
