pfrederi 17,734 #1 Posted April 24, 2023 Made a low ball bid online never expected to win...but it went very late in the day (early evening I think) no other bids... Not really anything I needed.. but K341 spins over and has compression. Deck is scrap. May try my spot welder to put some fresh metal on the stern of the tub cart and use it with out worrying about dents scratches Model is 1-0380 -9 Serial (1974) engne spec number is 71128 which is listed for a 1975 model 1

SylvanLakeWH 25,550 #3 Posted April 24, 2023 As Monty Python's Knight would say about that cart: "Thats just a flesh wound!"... 1

OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #6 Posted April 24, 2023 Nice grab for sure! Wheel weights and chains too! I can’t come by those in my parts. Keep us updated on bringing her back to life!

That #30 carb ALONE is worth $50-$75 even if the throttle shaft is loose.
953 nut 55,205 #8 Posted April 24, 2023 The tires on that tub cart are factory originals. If they are any good and you find the right buyer you could make your money back.
pfrederi 17,734 #9 Posted April 24, 2023 Interesting finding. You can roll her backwards as far as you want..but not an inch forward...if you jack it up wheels spin freely in opposite directions. Hope she was parked because of tranny issue and the engine may be in usable shape.. 1
953 nut 55,205 #10 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) Sounds like the nut came off a differential bolt and it is wedged in the transaxle. Had that happen a few years back, drove onto the trailer fine and when I got back home it wouldn't budge. Had to use the frontend loader and some chains to get it on the ground. Seems the bolt would hang up going backward but something guided it away from what it was hitting backing up. pfrederi 17,734 #13 Posted April 28, 2023 She popped off an ran for a few seconds on a spray of carb Cleaner!!! and it wasn't the tranny. The cross shaft that supports the brake (item#14) is too short and not anchored on the right side hence it was crooked and cause the dragging. The shaft looks original but is about 1/8" too short
