Any one got any ideas on how to stop Eaton burps?  I've got three Eaton's and they all burp.  Making a mess on the shed floor.

I feel your pain. First time in over 20 years this has happened to 2 of 3 Eaton 1100 Hydros this past Winter ?

The dipstick handle is the vent.

Make sure it is not plugged.

Clearing the dipstick vents stopped all my oil burp issues.

None of my three 1100s burp.    The one is sorta like me ....it needs a 5 minute warm-up before it can move.

My 416-H with Eaton 1100 has never burped. However, unlike @Ed Kennell mine moves immediately in all kinds of weather, unlike me.

On one of the Eatons I acquired, a PO had crushed the dipstick handle closed (I could see the tool marks) and I had to carefully pry it open again.
