Wiring harness was new last fall. Lights too. I left it on top on purpose so it can be moved around later.
Horse Newbie 7,069 #27 Posted April 23, 2023 (edited) Do you reckon one carriage bolt per board is enough ? … asking for a friend. Edited April 23, 2023 by Horse Newbie 1
Racinbob 11,065 #28 Posted April 23, 2023 Looks great. If you were so inclined you could Put a chunk of 2" angle over the ends and bolt through. Basically like what was done to mine but on the opposite end. Great protection for the boards when you run a tractor on it and the mower deck catches. 2

The bolts are there ONLY to hold the boards from sliding out the end.

No mower decks to catch here Bob but there's other stuff of course. We did talk about doing that at the end. No angle iron big enough on hand at the moment. Could certainly be a future add-on.

Nice looking job, once again you and BBT have made quick work of this and made it look great. Once the boards have dried you might want to run a self drilling metal screw through the boards at each crossmember. If you don't the boards will have a tendency to rattle as you go down the road. 2
