Need some advise..

This is for sale locally and the guy says it came with a 312H tractor but he knows nothing else about it or model tractors will fit, neither do I.

I have a B80 417-8 and C145 and was wondering if this snow blower would fit any that I have. Also don't know if blower is complete or not.

Any info appreciated. Photos are all I have of machine,

IF that snowblower was previously used on a 312-H it will be compatible with all 3 of your listed tractors. (I am assuming your B-80 is a horizontal shaft model). Not sure on all of the parts needed to make this work.

:text-yeahthat:

It'll set up on all 3 provided the B is a horizontal shaft tractor as stated above.

You'd appreciate the throwing torque of the larger engines MUCH more.

For attachment there's a flag shaped piece that isn't in the pics.

Be cautious of the value of that piece needs to be obtained separately.

Well, yes as the others have said. If it worked on a 312 then it will work on yours but there's something different. What's the second rod running parallel to the chute rotator rod? A couple other things strike me odd as well. Maybe a pre attach-a-matic unit? It would probably be just fine but you should be aware. :)

Most likely one of these

All have 2 idler sprockets for the drive chain. Started out as 37" wide and the added wings make them 42" wide.

1966-67 model ST-376

1968 model 6-1211

1969 6-6211 plus 6-9111

1970-72 model 6-6212 plus 6-9112

All without front quick hitch so not a direct fit for 1973 and later tractors. Snowthrower rear frame mounts in the front of the tractor frame using 2 bushings and a long 3/8-16 x 8-1/2" bolt.

What's the second rod

I don't see the two pulley belt tensioner system.   I'm guessing the second rod tensioned the belt some way  ??

As Garry noted , it bolts to the frame, doesn't use the attach-o-matic.
