ebinmaine 67,456 #2 Posted April 17, 2023 This is absolutely disgusting. Unacceptable. Way too late in the season for this sort of behavior. By the way I'm glad it's you. Not me.

953 nut 55,203 #14 Posted April 25, 2023 In the mountains of North Carolina we have three winters. There is the traditional winter where it is cold and may snow any time it feels like it from November to March. Then the next winter is "Dogwood Winter". When the Dogwoods bloom in early April we get a cold snap and sometimes a dusting of snow. With that behind us we have had summer like weather for the past couple of weeks. Then there is "Blackberry Winter" when the blackberries bloom, noticed a few beginning to bloom yesterday and sure enough it is below freezing this morning! Area beekeepers had their hives open for a couple weeks but most closed them down Saturday knowing "Blackberry Winter" was coming. It isn't global warming, just God's plan for us. When its time for summer He will let us know.
