leeave96 487 #1 Posted April 5, 2023 1992 520H - surging, hardly wants to run. Everything to the carb is clean. I’d like to pull the top off the carb and have a look-see in side and clean. You can buy a cheap kit online so that you will have the gasket, but beware that some of the gaskets and parts may be junk. I have had problems with needles and intake gaskets in cheap kits but the bowl gaskets were OK. Check to see if the Welch plug, just above the idle mixture screw, is in place.
