ebinmaine 67,508 #1 Posted April 4, 2023 This came up in my Google feed this morning and I HAD to share it with the group. It's not like any of us resemble any of these words..... 953 nut 55,240 #3 Posted April 4, 2023 Thanks @ebinmaine, I will keep those words and their definitions in mind as I meet with several members of our congregation this afternoon who fit the mold perfectly. Please pray for unity of purpose when the meeting has concluded.

ri702bill 8,323 #6 Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) This is a rehash of a topic I've brought up before. I used to work in the mid 1980's with this cantankerous sawed-off guy - about 5 foot 5 and full of fight. HE was the one that despised having a radio going in the shop. If it was your radio, he would tell you ONCE to turn it down so he could not hear it where was across the shop. If you did and he still was not happy, he would come over with a pair of side cutters and cut off the plug. Second "offense", he would cut the cord flush with the radio, Third "offense", it ends up getting run thru the bandsaw. I believe the only reason nobody punched he lights out was that he was the Shop owner's Godson, and he was a wiry scrappy guy with a chip on his shoulder... He always wore a long sleeve flannel workshirt, even on those miserable 95 degree hot & humid days. We had one of those circular stone washup sinks - one day he takes the shirt off to wash off and there it was - a faded Navy tattoo of the USS Indianapolis - he was a Machinist's Mate on that ill-fated vessel after it delivered the Nuclear Bomb in 1945.. I then found a bit of respect for him... but just a bit. He was not a pleasant person...... Edited April 4, 2023 by ri702bill

I am delighted that you recognize the stark contrast between members of our amicable, congenial, and most agreeable group and persons described by those adjectives. 1
