I’ll take a picture of the solenoid sometime, but it will be a bit as it is still in my friends garage. I need to make room for it at my place.

Looks to be in front of the engine.

Was the factory location on the toolbox under the seat? I've never owned a 550

You bet that's what's its for. Being seasonal yard art it's starting to patina. I got it from Dino at the very first plow day.

Funny thing is, I need room for this 550 and I just bought another Deere 332 on Monday. 🤦‍♂️

 

My friend that i got the 550 from said i can keep it at his place for a while yet,  I might need to take him up on it. He is only 2 miles away.

I was skeptical at first with mine,  but I really like that lauson engine.  I disconnected the electrical and just pull start it.  It's a really smooth running engine.  I like the sticker on yours, nice survivor
