The Briggs & Stratton solid state ignition is an excellent no trouble system. Fact I convert most B&S engines I run across with points to solid state. Just cut the wire that goes to the points & install a solid state coil, job done. Much easier than pulling the flywheel to mess with the points. Sweet set up in your tractor!! Yes just fine actually I had to add a pulley though on the frame by the dash are of the frame and snake it like a M then loop around the engine and tbh it helped doing that and also it takes the same belt as a lawn mower deck for a 46 WH
