Yup.  Some had it, some didn’t.  Press on it and it grounds out the points.

Some engines have it ... some don't.  More common on the small blocks or 90/91s. It grounds out the points like a kill or ignition switch might do.

Used on Kohler yank-start motors like tillers to kill the spark when done - has a piece of blue spring steel that deflects to ground out the points....
