Best source for new blades for 42” and 48” decks

c-series don

Looking for new blades for my friends 42” deck that’s on a 414 and my 48” from the same era. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks!

Try your local Toro dealer.  Won't be the cheapest price, but they probably have them.

 

Would help to have the model number of the decks when you go looking.

 XHT blades are the toughest I ever used and I bought the C-120 in 1977.  I have used them for around five years. I take them off and use gater blades with the vacuum and it's still on.

@c-series don  been using a small fine file  on my touch ups , minimize the metal removal , regulaty check over all related , movement areas . pete

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. @peter lena filing may be an option for my blades but my buddies are way past filing or grinding!

@c-series don on the unit I picked up , there was a rear bagging unit , 37" deck set up , deck was smoked , blades were closer to nubs than cutters . pete
