It's sometimes a bit iffy finding the longer filters. I've had to go with shorter ones before myself.

But always good to see the seals in use!

Don’t know if you bothered to test, but without the seals an amazing amount of air comes whooshing out of the shroud-to-filter gap!

Its quite a bit of leakage...and the rear/right cylinder is always the one that pukes a seat

This filter is right at 3.48" tall, any taller and it would be difficult to get on the WH and it would hit the side panels on the Deeres..it sticks out about 1/2".

This is a Wix XP filter on a P218G, it sticks out slightly less.

Oh, yeah. It's still a North American product, not from offshore !!

Worked at a Tier 1 Automotive OEM for 14 years, most of our product lines got sent to our Juarez "Low Cost North American Provider" facility, as Corporate would refer to it, from up here over the years .. many road trips there...

Back before NAFTA, there was a tactical "fib" used by a lot of manufactures that had their products made in Mexico - those that had manufacturing plants in Juarez, and a sister "Packing and Distibution" facility 2 miles away in El Paso Texas. Parts would arrive in bulk from Mexico and go to El Paso for packaging and shipping. Back then, the packaging read "Printed and Packaged in USA"... with NO mention of the Country of Origin of the contents inside.......
