t_furl43 78 #1 Posted March 19, 2023 Does anyone out there have any engineering plans to make a backhoe attachment or maybe someone has one they’re willing to part with, condition isn’t an issue
wallfish 16,990 #2 Posted March 19, 2023 https://pf-engineering.com/ Has very good plans. Well worth the investment if you are serious about building one. I built one from their plans but EB in Maine has the tractor now. Guess I need to change my avatar pic now. Here's some BASIC backhoe plans that might get you going. That's the PF hoe in the pic not these plans 2

I've spoken to the owner down there while looking for a hydraulic filter. VERY helpful. Excellent person to deal with. He remembered @wallfish John's machine and was impressed to hear it was still in regular use. John you keep that avatar as long as you want. We're honored to have this machine.
peter lena 8,589 #4 Posted March 19, 2023 @ebinmaine always thought the original frame was much too light for the stress of a bucket , only have 1 short piece left of a 3/8 thick version of it in my old stock . if I were going to build one , it would be 3/8 " thick all the way , the heft / strength is without question , picked it out of a scrap steel dumpster , check a bone yard , pete
