pacer 3,173 #1 Posted March 14, 2023 Finding neutral in a D200 is getting more and more hard to find. Its the typical Sundstrand tranny and has no other problems - strong pulling in fwd & rev, just have to fiddle around to find the neutral point. Have been into 2-3 of these pumps, but only for a check on an unknown purchase, and while in there do a 'refurb' - typical clean/polish/examine, etc but never paid any attention to the motion control portion. So, is there an 'adjustment' in there to tighten/adjust the motion control lever?? Like most folks I often have to get off the tractor for various reasons - move a limb/debris/etc (get the mail!) out of the way, and all too often I look around and the tractor is creeping away.... frustrating!

I have this same issue with my D160. I'll let any body drive it, I just tell them "If you're goin to get off, shut it off" There is a hole in the side panel under the dash that will give you access to tighten the lever tension.

pacer 3,173 #6 Posted March 15, 2023 Paul, (and others!) went out and and following the procedure shown spent maybe 5+ minutes adjusting with the rear wheels jacked up and with a really small 'tweak' neutral is right where its supposed to be and no creeping Thanks again ...... gotta love this forum!
