This is for the older tractors but I think they had one for the C series too. But as you can see it's just a shaft with the handle removed and a bracket welded on in place to accept the actuator connection

The actuators, for the most part, aren't made to take the sudden strains of a working plow.

the shock load on a linear actuator, I never thought of that!

I have six words for a possible solution to this issue. Over kill, Over kill, Over kill. My thoughts would be to get an actuator that would handle at least 3 times what it needs to. My hopes would be that excess would work in my favor.

When ordering an actuator for outside use, one also need to look at it's ability to survive in a wet environment. The more water tight, the better. I would want an IP rating of IP65 or higher. This rating would protect the unit from weather up to a moderate pressure washing.

Update:

Transferred to the C-105 and cleaned things up. Works like a champ.

Excellent. When are you going to put on a POWER ANGLE system?

Remembering the winch lift problem I had on my Yammy 4 wheeler Jim.     How do you control the winch overrun with your short hook up?

I remember.

I raise it around 2" from ground. Gives me 2" of wiggle room before lock up... The push buttons are quite easy to gauge movement.

I will probably add a spring per your great suggestion but it's working quite well as is... Just need to get 'round to it... at -5 this morning - meh...

Great set up Jim.   Just wouldn't want you to "fat finger " the up button and wreck something.

And as my fingers do indeed reflect my derrière... that is a valid and probable point! :eusa-think:
