WheelHorseEnjoyer 25 #1 Posted March 8, 2023 Does anyone here have a Pond walk behind tractor? And if so what is it like? Just wondering. 5
Pullstart 62,905 #2 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) I’ve had two, but neither were mine! Just passing through but they are cool machines. The clutch is an engine plate that simply slides on the frame rails… You can kind of see the collars that the engine plate is on, and that it slides on the rails. The transmission on the Walk Away tractors is the same one on the RJ25 and RJ35 as well. Edited March 8, 2023 by Pullstart
953 nut 55,280 #3 Posted March 8, 2023 I have seen a few but never owned one. @AMC RULES has one or two, perhaps he will chime in on this thread.
WheelHorseEnjoyer 25 #4 Posted March 9, 2023 @Pullstart That sounds like an interesting way to have a clutch set up. My guess it would take some grease to keep it moving smoothly on the tubes.

The slide system is seized on it.
WheelHorseEnjoyer 25 #6 Posted March 12, 2023 @Pullstart sounds like something a mallet and some PB blaster can't handle.
