"Necessity is the Mother of Butchery" Picked up a C81 roller once, all that was left of the steering wheel was the steel hex overmold insert. There was a rusty pair of cheapo knock-off locking pliers on it to steer with. He told me I could have them too! Good enough to hold parts together for welding....
