I think most of those cargo carriers are rated to carry 300-500 pounds. So you could load it up pretty good. I’m planning to get one for the tractors at some point. If you try it share how well it worked, or didn’t. With the rack I made the four blocks is about all the weight it can take without lifting the front tires when accelerating.

Doesn't it always rain that weekend anyway????? The weekend of the Big Show is notorious for having lots of sunshine, rain, high winds and more sunshine all within the same day. Most importantly it is known for having a good time in spite of the weather! 1

I bought those from @stevebo at his October Meet & Greet. They are not WH, possibly Simplicity. Steve?? I like them because they are flush to the rim - had a "mishap" with a plastic WH one last year - peeled the edge open on the sharp wing of the snowblower.... Senior Moment, I guess.....
Pullstart 62,814 #35 Posted February 28, 2023 I know I’m way behind the 8 ball on this thread, but if I were building a weight box like @JCM or @WHX?? has, I might consider extending the mount to incorporate the mid mount tach-a-matic like FEL frames have. 1

oliver2-44 9,714 #40 Posted March 1, 2023 (edited) Do your rear wheel weights have holes in the center? If so you could get/make one of those weight rods that bolt on your wheel studs and has the round rod sticking out that round bar bell weights slide on. The pullers use these for easy weight adjustment. I have seen pictures with lots of weight on them. Edited March 1, 2023 by oliver2-44

OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #42 Posted March 1, 2023 Another idea for the 2" receiver would be to get one of the hitch extensions with a step built into it. HF has a Haul Master brand one fairly priced. I've always thought that would be an easy way to stack cinder blocks and just strap them down tight. Or make up a giant U bolt to secure it. Or even secure on a 5 gallon bucket filled with concrete, gravel, et. This would keep it a little closer to the tractor compared to a cargo carrier or other longer mount and still let you attach hitches if needed with the load on the step/platform.

Back many years ago at the coal plant the rotating stack out boom conveyor had a huge counterweight on the back end. It was a steel shell filled with concrete. But instead of rock the concrete had steel punching in it from like an iron worker. Edited March 17, 2023 by oliver2-

I run these on my bolens and they are great after mowing 1 or 2x at beginning of the year I don't have to again because I have no lawn left 😅 they really bite in.

"Digger" my C-120 came with those tires on the back and they work great with my front push blade. Pushed a whole lot of dirt and gravel with that tractor! Going to add the same tread to the fronts since steering traction when pushing was the only weak area.
