Hi Clarence,    I suspect they are not the same.     To positively confirm this, you will need the model numbers of both tractors to determine if the part numbers are the same.

Many factors can determine the design of the belt guards.    Wheel base length,  Type of transmission,hydro,3 speed, 6 speed, 8 speed, etc.

Only the C160s here Richard.

Perhaps @Pullstart ?

Who has the "B160" that's their own build?

If it's they are 1976 or 1977  models they are the same if both are 8 speeds.

Both parts are 105391.  There may be other models that are the same but we need year and model to check.

Yup, I'm guilty. I bought a 1976 B-80 brand new and shortly thereafter converted it. I removed the B-80 tower decals with the intentions of getting B-160 decals but still haven't done it.

That is correct. The B's and C's shared the same belt guards in 76 and 77. The bolt that goes into the engine block on the big blocks is 7/16" while the small block bolt is 3/8". @Clarence T. Nolley Jr go ahead and get that belt guard if the tractors are either of those years. The earlier B's were shorter and the later B's were lawn tractors. Also keep in mind that the hydros used a different belt guard that the 8-speeds but can be converted. :)

Take that 10K802 out the middle there n search it.

Comes with a list that contains this:

I'm not sure a C1x1 belt guard is compatible with a C160.

What's the need for the belt guard anyway?

EB they made 4 runs of building B-100 in 1976  - 801 ,802, 803, and 804.. The belt guard will fit it's the same number part  if his C-160 is a 76 or 77 model.

Looking at the 61-10k802 the 61 tells you it's a 1976, the 10k says 10hp Kohler. The last three numbers are runs. Anything different in those is insignificant. The transmissions were either a 5091 or 103907. Doesn't matter, they are the same. The different numbers may mean something like a drain plug difference, switching to a different numbering system or..................just doesn't matter. The belt guard on a 61-10k802 WILL fit on a C160 8-speed. Same part.:)
