You'd think I have a "carb problem"....

Nah - but it looks like the 2 at the top had a litter of puppies !!!

You do realize the long main jet needles are different between the small 8 HP carbs and the larger 10+ models??

And that all the needles are hollow with teensy-tiny air bleed holes at both ends...?? Be sure they are open....

Looks like a couple of shiny new bowls there too...:handgestures-thumbup:

There's a wee bitty techy one, 2 Kohler 8 HP carbs, a 12 HP Kohler imported  replacement from isavetractors, 4 #30s for K341, (one's not a WH carb) and also a B & S updraft I just found.

I know I have at least another couple wee bitty techy ones, a Tecumseh 16 HP single cylinder carb, and another OE Kohler 12 and Kohler 16 HP single.

Holy 💩💩💩.

Will this picture never die...??? :law-policeblue:

I actually just told my neighbor yesterday about this method of "exciting" his generator into firing up...  No I did not demonstrate... I left that up to him... after I left... :D

It's all fun and games until the gas splashes back in you face...:scared-eek:

I'm afigurin' this is the "Air Starter" version for lawn tractors, not like his video of the Mack tractor...... but on a smaller scale.

If anyone would rather never see this one again please let EB know in turn he will let me know and you will never see this picture again. I am a Man of my word. I will not be offended. After all I was only 4' away from him when I captured this classic priming method. Never was aware this was possible. Live and learn.

Unfortunately I've been caught "exciting" the machines too. Motophellia

I'm not quite sure of the pronoun we should use

In this case it should be whatever floats your float! Trying to get gas in the carburetor to float the float in the bowl. 😂😂

Don't you be thinkin on what ole @SylvanLakeWH Sylvia/Other Jim says.

~ I ~ get extreme amusement outta the responses from that pic.

As the purveyor of @wallfish taught proper and severe machine primerizing in photographically evidenced form I give you permanent permission to post, repost, and repeat repeatedly.

So, now i'm curious if this was an actual request for a carb part..........  or a clever funny joke? Either way it was perfect timing.

I kinda glossed over it the first time but :ROTF: now!

If you run out of good usable float bowls, Briggs and Stratton P/N 221995 works perfectly and can be had for $10 or less.  It's an anodized steel bowl used on older Briggs carbs.

perfect!  I’ve used compressed air in vehicles before.  Why not a human compressor?
