ML3 1,382 #1 Posted February 23, 2023 Have 84 C105 8sp. Need to replace all 4 tires. They are original & about worn out, not to mention hard. Not sure if I should stay with the OEM turf style or not?? I do absolutely no mowing with tractor. I do use it to push snow on a flat but brand new cement driveway. Tire chains are absolutely out of the question! I have about 95lbs of weight on the hitch which really helps. Also have snowblower that I haven't tried yet & don't know if I'll ever use it? Tractor is used more for pushing snow, dirt, & hauling trailer around yard. Thinking of going to agriculture type tires for better grip but I've heard that they aren't as good for the snow. Suggestions????

ebinmaine 69,730 #3 Posted February 23, 2023 @Sparky What're those neat rear zig zag sneakers your machine is using? 10 minutes ago, rjg854 said: Rubber tire chains, instead of the steel ones Agreed. Also FLUID FILLED TIRES. More weight is your friend. Find Rimguard fluid if you can it reasonably. For the front tires perhaps use some snowblower type? rick 238 #13 Posted February 24, 2023 @Tonytoro416 What tire pressure do you use for those Versa Turf tires? I looked at them on the Carlisle site and they suggest 50 psi!

Tonytoro416 1,086 #15 Posted February 24, 2023 I’m guessing because they are radial and the have some flex.

What's the intended original application of those tires? Higher load range than a standard garden tractor tire?
Tonytoro416 1,086 #17 Posted February 24, 2023 I’m not sure I know they are a option on brand new subcompact tractors of the green variation
