Redav72 227 #1 Posted February 20, 2023 I have a stock tire on my 753 with a big split in the outside wall. It’s got a tube and you can see the tube bulging a bit. I’d like to keep running these old tires as long as I can since the look great on the tractor and it doesn’t really do much work. Is there a recommended patch that I can apply or some other strategy? WHX?? 49,145 #2 Posted February 20, 2023 (edited) Sorry Dav... yer screwed... and it's only gonna get worse. Dry rot knows no bounds. Only thing I can suggest it run them with only a couple of psi. The good news is those tires can be had. New depending on the weather, Miller Tire comes to mind. Some of the fellas have decent used ones tho. You make the pilgrimage to the BS you gotta a good chance of finding some. Edited February 20, 2023 by WHX??

WHX?? 49,145 #4 Posted February 20, 2023 (edited) As you can see they ain't exactly given them away tho. I bought a set at the BS a few years back for 25 apiece WITH rims. Got them home only to find the tread patterns were a might different. Anybody says anything we might go to fisticuffs. Got another set from the @Pullstart later for a real good price. Dan got a set from the @squonky at the BS for a decent price. They are out ther just sayin... Just don't ask us for diamond treads... go fish... Edited February 20, 2023 by WHX??
