Retired Wrencher 5,454 #1 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) I pick this Rader9/12 up yesterday in Deep River Ct yesterday. It was cheap compared to what you see on the net these days. Crazy stuff! Any way the Teckey that was in it blew up, so the p/o went with a newer K Kohler 12 that they had on the shelf. It has a push button start and a toggle shut off with a very nice not stock nice amp meter. Smokes on startup but goes away after that. This my summer tractor for yard work only. The boat seat is history. I have a nice original deck that came with it. That I would like to sell but it might be spoken for? these are for the 10-1257 series and the Raiders also and whatever else that it would fit on. Will post if not sold. Sparky-(Admin) 21,315 #3 Posted February 17, 2023 I like it! Slap some period correct decals on the hood and she would really pop! So whats the actual model number? Should be on a tag just under the dash I think. Mower deck blades missing?

Yes, they were not there. I hope they are not hard to get. There is a dip stick in the front on the bottom of the block. Retired Wrencher 5,454 #10 Posted February 18, 2023 For the ones that would like to know this tractor I bought two days ago is 1 604 1 is Raider 10. It had a 10 hp Tecky engine in it. And the currant K engine is a repaint. I also look up in my manuals they did not list a Raider 9. So that as they say is the real story. Still will be a good worker. Taking my time going thru it. Just designations separated by year.

Back before 1970 they'd have been called 6 speeds. I know they made em in 68. I had one here. I believe 1969 as well.

If so, you have a 5060 6-speed LSD (limited slip differential).
Tonytoro416 1,034 #20 Posted February 19, 2023 Yes sir definitely a 5060. It’s been a minute trying to find parts for it. Hi low fork I got lucky on thanks to A-Z tractor parts. Actually several parts were bought from him
