Tractors from the past

What a great memory lane trip. I often go through my old collection of pictures to. I had some nice machines. We are considering selling our home by the beach, moving back to a 3/4 acre property. If we do that its wheel horse time again. I hope we do. The problem will be finding something "nice". Thanks for sharing those pictures.

Nice looking 702 there, Mike. I too use the later curved front cutting deck - cuts a lot better than the old "suitcase" one I have....

That was a nice looking D-160!  My grail tractor is a D-160 with single cylinder Kohler and 3-pt.  one day...

Awesome pictures and tractors. Do you happen to know the history on the 702? Did you build it or get it that way? :)

Got it that way…no idea where it came from or where it went unfortunately.

It's definitely a cool tractor. I noticed that the front axle was the 1963 style and I was curious what the scoop was. :)

This is the older style. It was used through 1962 and the newer style started in 1963. The 63 Lawn Rangers and the 603 did continue to use the older style which was likely to use up inventory.

None of these tractors are here in my collections anymore

:text-coolphotos:                  That would be one big herd if you had kept them all.               :text-thankyouyellow:

Good Job on the recovery of the picks Mike. You had some nice one`s for sure. But I would say you are not done.  I have been enjoying back pages here for the last six months. Looking where I was and now. Still not done but that is the enjoyment. The best running / but a but ugly tractor I picked up form Jeff was a 1057 from Suffield Ct. So, I would say to your post let`s make more memories.

Great pictures. I have a few that I wish I never let slip away. Every time I see pictures of them on Facebook or back on the cloud I think about how I never should have sold them. My all original 701 was one of them.

I see you had a C-165 8 speed. I've owned one for years. If I had to get rid of all my horses except for one I would keep the C-165. It is strong,

reliable and a black hood, the most beautiful Wheel Horses of all.

That D is definitely one of the nicest I’ve ever seen! I’m not really a D-series guy but I’d like to have that in my collection!

Agreed.  I've had mine since I was eleven and wouldn't part with it after twenty-eight years.
