Word of the day. Magniloquent. 2/13/23

"Magniloquent"  describes language that is intended to sound very impressive and important, or a person who uses such language.

I believe it's reasonable to say that anytime a Wheel Horse comes into conversation, it IS Magniloquent.

Another excellent example of regional dialect in use. I had to look up what you meant by, double glazing salesman. Standard issue traveling salesman.

Interesting part about that is here in Maine, there hasn't been a house built without double glazing for decades and decades and decades....

I would almost be looking forward to having a double glazing salesman knock on my door if I still had single glazing.

😂

I think you should re-‘COIL’ from any, possibly, unnecessary purchases of the expensive kind, until you have made a complete, thorough, and comprehensive investigation of possible reasons for this issue. If, after following all ‘LEADS’, everything still ‘POINTS’ to the ‘MAG’ being at fault, only then should you consider purchasing a replacement!

Was the, pompous “Green” sales person ‘new’ at his job, had gained his unnatural colour, (green), as a result of over indulgence the previous evening, perhaps a relative of ‘Shrek’, or did the ‘Green’ reference apply instead to the tractor?
